Melissa is listed in the 1860 census with her parents. 1862 she is married to Robert Alexander. I have found no record of any children for them. Robert dies in the Civil War, May 16, 1864. Melissa remarries to Frederick M. Talbott Nov. 26, 1865. On the 1870 census with Frederick listed as Rosina and a son Harry b. Feb. 1870 In early Births for Stark Co book there is another son, Jessie b. 1879. Could there be more children between 1870/79, records were not kept very well. The Talbott's are not in the 1880 Stark Co., Ill. Census.
