LAURINE MANNING, 74, RURAL BRADFORD, DIES

BRADFORD- Mrs Glenn (Laurine) Manning, 74, rural Bradford, died in her home early today, April 27, 1978.

Services will be Saturday,April 29, at 2 p.m. In the Dunlap Funeral Home, Bradford. The Rev. Frank Rider, of the Bradford Methodist Church, will officiate.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, south of Kewanee.
Visitation is at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday, April 28.

Mrs. Manning was born in West Jersey on March 9, 1904, the daughter of Art and Rebecca Zink Brazee. She married Manning on March 24, 1922 in Peoria. He died Oct. 12, 1974.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Foockle, Sheffield, Mrs. Harold (Aileen) Stotler, Wyoming, Mrs. Robert (Audrey) Hart, Peoria, and Mrs. Bernard (Beverly) Labedis, Kewanee; a son, Duane, at home; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Mrs. Manning was a member of the Royal Neighbors more than 50 years. She was recently awarded a pin for her membership.

(Glenn Jasper Manning was born on July 27, 1893 in Bradford, Stark County. Illinois 6 and died on October 12, 1974 in Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois 6.)

YOUNG COUPLE MARRIED

Glenn Manning of this place and Miss Lorene Brazee of Wyoming were married in Peoria last Friday, the ceremony coming as a surprise to the friends of the groom here. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brazee of Wyoming and is said to be a very pleasant and accomplished young lady.

Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Manning and is conducting the harness and shoe shop with his father. Glenn is a stead and energetic young man of fine traits. They will make their home with the groom's parents for awhile, at least. Their friends offer congratulations.
