Death: Notice in East Liverpool Potter's Gazette [a weekly newspaper] January 27,1881;"It is with profound regret that we learn of the death of our friend, A.G.Foulks, of St Clair Township. At present writing we know not the cause of his death, except that it was sudden and unlooked for. Mr. Foulks was an influential and popular man in St. Clair Township, as is attested by the fact that he was elected a Justice of the Peace under adverse circumstances--the township being, politically, in the majority against him. He had many warm personal friends in his place, who will drop a silent tear when they think upon his good qualities, and a sorrowful tear when they realize that he was his own worst enemy."
