Samuel (Ned) Kitterman, 83, of 214 N. Miller, Toulon, died at 9:23 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
He was born Feb. 13, 1911, in Bradford, the son of Jasper and Lillian (Barnes) Kitterman. He first married Maxine Leadley April 22, 1933, in Toulon. She died Oct. 1975. He then married Coral Streitmatter, July 19, 1979 in Toulon.
She survives, as well as one sister, Cleo Orris of Independence, Mo.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Campbell.
Mr. Kitterman worked for the Stark co., Highway Dept. for 33 1/2 years and was a member of the Toulon American Legion.
He is a World War II veteran of the Seabees.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27 at DeBolt-Kidd Funeral Home in Toulon, the Rev. Dave Venter officiating.
Burial will be in Toulon Cemetery.
Visistation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Toulon United Methodist Church or the choice of the donor.
