Roy DeWolfe of 201 E. Smith, Wyoming, died at 12:52 p.m. Monday, December 4, 1995, at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.

He was born April 10, 1912, in Victoria, Ill., the son of Grover and Mabel (Martin) DeWolfe. He married Hazel Kitterman, July 3, 1931, in Wyoming.

She survives, as well as two sons, Jack of Wyoming and Richard Pittsboro, Ind.; a sister, Helen Malloy of Danville; eight grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon.

Mr. DeWolfe was employed at Mannon Chevrolet as a mechanic for many years and worked in Stegs Parts Dept. He was a member of Wyoming Masonic Lodge and the Wyoming Fire Department for 52 years. He was a Wyoming City Councilman for eight years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 in Wyoming Funeral Home, Wyoming, the Rev. Robert Butterfield officiating. Visitation is from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, with a Masonic service set for 1:30.m., followed by a fireman's prayer. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kewanee. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
