Wyoming, IL., May 13, Miss. Elizabeth Beck, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Beck, and Ray, 19, son of Mrs. Laura Kitterman of Wyoming were united in marriage last Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the Methodist parsonage, Rev. C.E. Withrow performing the single ring ceremony. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kitterman of Wyoming.

Ray E. Kitterman Sr., 86, formerly of Wyoming died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 29, 1998, at Toulon Health Care Center in Toulon, where he was a resident. Born Feb. 9, 1912, in Bradford to Ross and Laura Sturm Kitterman, he married Elizabeth Beck on May 9, 1931, in Wyoming. She died Nov. 5, 1986. Two brothers and one great-granddaughter also preceded him in death. Surviving are one daughter, Patsy Newton of Wyoming, three sons, Ray, Jr. Larry and John, all of Wyoming, one sister, Hazel DeWolfe of Wyoming, nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was a welder at Caterpillar Inc. and later at Komatsu Dresser, retiring in 1976. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wyoming Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wyoming united Methodist Church or to the American Lung Association.
