MILDRED J. KITTERMAN, 91, formerly of Wyoming, a resident for the past 12 years of Applegate East Nursing Home, Galesburg, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 1994, in Knox County. Nursing Home, Knoxville.
She was born July 7, 1902, in Larchland, the daughter of John and Gertrude Anderson. She married Cecil L. Kitterman, Nov. 7, 1922 in Monmouth. He died Aug. 12, 1978. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, three daughters, three sons, a brother and three grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Kitterman of Galva, and Dean Kitterman of Wyoming; a step-son, Bill Kitterman of Elmwood; a daughter Kathleen DeCrane of Galva; a step-daughter, Lucille Fitzpatrick of Osceola, Fl.; 21 grandchildren 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Mrs. Kitterman was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Rux-Schuster Funeral Home, the Rev. Dan Buck officiating. Visitation is from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Osceola Grove Cemetery, rural Osceola. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
