Wyoming - Cecil Kitterman, 78, of 504 N. Main St., Wyoming, died in Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, at 3:50 p.m. Friday, Sept 8.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at the Wyoming Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Osceola Grove Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
Kitterman was born Jan. 14, 1900 in Toulon, the son of Ross E. and Laura Mae Sturm Kitterman. He was reared and educated in Stark County. He married Irma Taylor, who died in 1921. He then married Mildred J. Anderson on Nov. 7, 1922 in Monmouth. She survives.
Also surviving are a daughter and son by the first marriage, Mrs. Ira (Lucille) Beduhn of Belmont, Mich. and Billie Kitterman of Princeville; two sons and two daughters by the second marriage, Dean Kitterman of Wyoming, and Kenneth Kitterman of Galva and Mrs. Robert (Betty) DeCrane of Wood hull and Mrs. John (Kathleen) DeCrane of Galva, 23 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, two brothers, Carl and Ray, both of Wyoming and a sister, Mrs. Roy (Hazel) DeWolfe, of Wyoming.
He was preceded, in addition to his parents and first wife, by three sons, two daughters and two grandchildren.
Kitterman was former custodian of Wyoming High School, where he worked many years.
