Howard M. Harris, 86, of Kewanee, formerly of Bradford, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, at Colonial Hall Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Nov. 19, 1911, in Bradford to Bert and Blanche Manning Harris, he married Della B. Bowyer on Oct. 5, 1935, in Toulon. She died Jan. 4, 1995. He was also preceded in death by three brothers.
Surviving are one son, LaVerne of Princeton; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Viola Roberts of Kewanee and Betty Miller of Neponset.
He was employed at the Jim Dandy Collar Co., in Bradford for many years and also worked at the Kewanee Veterinary Clinic.
Services were held Saturday, Oct. 31, at Johnson Dunlap Funeral Home, Bradford. The Rev. Pat Allin officiated. Burial was in Osceola Grove Cemetery, near Bradford. Memorials may be made to the Bureau County Housing Authority.
