Bradford - Mrs. John H. Kitterman, 83, of West Brooklyn (IL), formerly of Bradford, died early Thursday morning in the Mendota Community Hospital.
The former Mary Catherine Ribley, Mrs. Kitterman was born on Feb. 17, 1871 in Castleton, the daughter of Joseph and Elmira Shultz Ribley. She was married in Bradford on Feb. 18, 1895 to Mr. Kitterman. The home was with a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edith Kitterman, in Leroy, Minn. for 35 years. Mr. Kitterman died April 9, 1938. The past year, Mrs. Kitterman lived in West Brooklyn.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Louvar, Memphis, Tenn. two sisters, Mrs. Art Doty, Sheffield, and Mrs. Laura Melles, West Brooklyn; one grandson, Robert Kitterman and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death besides her husband, by a son, William J.
Mrs. Kitterman was a member of the Women's Relief Corps and the Royal Neighbors.
Funeral Services will be held in Bradford's Marsh and Dunlap funeral chapel at 2 p.m. (CST) Saturday, Rev. Donald Woods, pastor of the Bradford Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Bradford cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. today.
