After a long illness of four days with pneumonia, Roscoe F. Kitterman, 337 Ann Eliza Street, passed away at 10:50 Christmas morning at the Pekin Hospital. His illness was serious from the beginning and the end came quickly.
Roscoe Fred Kitterman was born at Lombardville, Ill., February 28, 1888, a son of Jasper N. and Philinda (Mix) Kitterman. His father was a civil war veteran and Roscoe enlisted for the world war but never saw service.
He was married to Alma Diekman in Pekin and she with one son, Vernon Roscoe, are left to mourn his death. He also leaves four sisters and brothers. Mrs. Mable Schember, Pekin; Mrs. Iva Bottin, Elmhurst; Joseph W. , Bradford; John, Chester, IA.
Mr. Kitterman was formerly was employed as a blacksmith at the Fleischman yeast plant, but had not worked for some time on account of sickness.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Kuecks Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Zimmerman and burial will be at Lakeside.
