J. W. (Manny Kitterman), a well known and highly respected citizen of Bradford passed away at Kewanee Public Hospital Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. Mr. & Mrs. Kitterman had been spending the winter at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Orville Campbell and of Washington Iowa. At the time of death he was 63 years of age. A son of pioneer residents of Bradford and born near Lombardville. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, 3 children, Cleo, Otto, Mrs. Orville Campbell. Burial at LaPrairie Cemetery southwest of Bradford. __________

Manny Kitterman, 63, Passes In Hospital
Funeral services for Manny Kitterman, 63, of Bradford, lifelong resident of Stark county, will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon at the Marsh Funeral home in Bradford. Rev. Warren A. Moyer, pastor of Bradford Baptist church, will be in charge and interment will be in LaPrairie cemetery. Mr. Kitterman passed away at 6:15 Tuesday morning at Kewanee Public hospital where he had been a patient since Saturday. He and Mrs. Kitterman had gone the first of January to Washington, Iowa, to visit at the home of their daughter and he became seriously ill there January 9. He was brought back to Kewanee Saturday. Manny Kitterman, son of Jasper Newton and Phylinda Mix Kitterman, was born February 9, 1881, near Lombardville and at the time of his death was 63 years and 20 days old. He lived in Toulon when he was a small boy when his father was sheriff of Stark County. Mr. Kitterman was married in 1906 to Miss Lillian Barnes, of Wyoming and they have lived all of their married life in Bradford. To this union were born three daughters and one son: Samuel Otto Kitterman, of this city, who is fireman first class in the Seabees in New Zealand; Mrs. May Campbell, of Washinton, Iowa and Miss Cleo Kitterman, of Bradford. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Otto Bottin, of Elmhurst. He was preceded in death by one daughter, his parents, and three brothers and three sisters.
